Nana's House

Made for Ruth Flowers and supported by No More Nowt, “Nana’s House” is a short film documenting a creative takeover in a Peterlee shop. The project explored what life in Peterlee is like for women, past and present, in a town named after a man. From stories of local industry to the voices of artists and residents, the space became a living room of sorts: a place for conversation, creativity, and community. Featuring work by local artists, the film captures the warmth, pride, and strength of the women who shape Peterlee.
